Just as autumn brings change, the start of fall semester at IVECA brings fresh possibilities and a season of transformation. Members of our global community in South Korea, India, China, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and the United States have begun preparing to start a journey through global citizenship, sustainability, leadership and intercultural understanding.
This fall, IVECA virtual exchange students from over a couple dozen middle and high schools around the world will have the unique experience of working together, sharing their innovative and inclusive solutions to global issues. Over the course of the semester, IVECA students will build crucial skills by engaging with peers from diverse backgrounds, developing a deeper understanding of different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. Our program aims to equip young learners to become thoughtful, compassionate global citizens who can navigate and contribute to a diverse world with confidence and empathy, working together to build a sustainable and equitable future for the world.
As the semester unfolds, IVECA remains mindful of the global conversations shaping our shared future. The upcoming UN Summit of the Future on September 22-23, focused on "Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow," and United Nations Climate Change Conference, (COP 29) happening November 11-22, both echo the core themes woven into IVECA’s curriculum. As IVECA endeavors to empower a generation of students worldwide to make a meaningful impact on our shared future, our students will not only explore these critical topics but will also reflect them in their collaborative projects, demonstrating how education and dialogue can drive meaningful change.
